Basic information
The Widget library is a collection of ready-to-use widgets (called 'library widgets'). On the Pangea platform, library widgets work as follows:
- One library widget might be used in multiple places across the public site. A library widget might also be stored in the Widget library in Pangea CMS without being used anywhere on the public site.
- All instances of the same library widget are connected. This means that if you update the content on one instance of the widget, all other instances of the same widget will inherit the changes.
The following widget types can be created as library widgets:
Content | FactCheck | HTML | Live stream | Manual stream | Multimedia | Podcast | Poll | Subscription | Trends
The remaining chapters in this article explain how to work with library widgets in Pangea CMS:
- Create a library widget
- Use a library widget
- Check where a library widget is used
- Edit a library widget
- Delete a library widget
- Remove a widget from the Widget library
- Add a widget to the Widget library
Create a library widget
To create a new library widget:
- Go to Build > Widget library.
- Select + Add new.
