Basic information
A widget teaser is a simple preview for a story that is displayed on a widget. A widget teaser might include various elements (such as a title and horizontal image). This varies, depending on the widget type and the selected layout.
For each story, Pangea generates a default widget teaser. This includes elements from the "General" / "Website teaser" settings for the story. When you manually add a story to a widget, you might customize the default teaser. This works as follows:
- You can replace some or all of the default elements. For example, you might add a shorter title to replace the general title for a story. The remaining elements on the widget will be defined automatically.
- You can display your custom teaser only on the current widget, or if preferred, replace the default website teaser for the story.
