Pangea CMS lets you upload a single video or multiple videos simultaneously using the Video upload tool.

Upload a single Video
To upload a single video to Pangea CMS:
- Click New > Multimedia > Video in the top menu.
- Select the file you want to upload using either method below:
- Click the file that you want to upload and drag and drop it into the box.
- Click Browse files and navigate to the location on your device where the file is saved. Double-click the file.
The Upload video dialog changes to Video edit as soon as the upload starts.
The following options are available:
Start editing
You can start configuring the settings for the video while the upload is in progress. For information about the options available on the Video edit screen, refer to the following article:
Let the video upload in the background
Optionally click Close to close the Video edit screen and let the upload complete in the background.
You can edit the video later using either method below:
- Click the Upload manager icon in the top-right corner of Pangea CMS. Hover your cursor over the relevant panel and click Edit (the pencil icon).
- Find the video using the Pangea CMS Search tool. The video is saved with the status Draft and the title matches the name of the video file.

The Upload manager also disappears if you close and then reopen Pangea CMS.
Upload multiple Videos
To upload multiple videos to Pangea CMS:
- Click New > Multimedia > Video in the top menu.
- Select the files you want to upload using either method below:
- Ensure all the files you want to upload are selected, and drag and drop the files into the box.
- Click Browse files and navigate to the location on your device where the files are saved. Select all the files you want to upload and click Open.
The Upload video dialog disappears and the Upload manager appears in the top-right corner of Pangea CMS.
The following options are available:
Start editing
You can start configuring the settings for any Video while the upload is in progress. Hover your cursor over the relevant panel and click Edit (the pencil icon).

Let the videos upload in the background
To minimize the Upload manager and let the uploads complete in the background, click elsewhere on the screen. When the Upload manager is minimized, you can re-open it by clicking the Upload manager icon in the top panel.
You can edit a video later using either method below:

- Find the video using the Pangea CMS Search tool. The video is saved with the status Draft and the title matches the name of the video file.

Manage notifications about uploads
You can customize how Pangea CMS notifies you when a video or audio file that you uploaded has been fully processed.
Follow these steps:
- Click the Profile icon in the top-right corner of Pangea CMS and click My account.
- Under Notify me when, select your preferred option in the My audio/video is processed drop-down menu:
- Pangea Message (selected by default): You receive a notification in the top-right corner of Pangea CMS when a video or audio file that you uploaded has been processed.
- E-mail: You receive an email when a video or audio file that you uploaded has been processed.
- Pangea Message and E-mail: You receive an email and a notification in Pangea CMS when a video or audio file that you uploaded has been processed.
- Click Save to confirm and apply your preferences.
