- Action bar
- Primary navigation
- Sub navigations (optional)
- Footer navigation
- Follow us navigation
- Sharing navigation

Action bar
The action bar contains buttons that open high-interest pages. It remains accessible at all times as visitors browse your site and is located as follows:
- Desktop: In the site header.
- Mobile: At the bottom of the screen, where it is easily accessible with the thumb.
The buttons in the action bar are uniquely configured for every site. To update your site's action bar, contact Pangea Customer Care.
The action bar may contain the Live button if this option is enabled for your site.
Primary navigation
The primary navigation offers a clear overview of your website structure, allowing visitors to quickly access key landing pages by topic. As visitors browse your website, the primary navigation remains accessible at all times via the ≡ (Menu) button.
Site admins can conveniently update the primary navigation from Pangea CMS. To get started, go to Settings > Navigation menu > Primary navigation.
For detailed information, see the following article:
Sub navigation
A sub navigation is a horizontal collection of links, which appears directly below the site header. These prominent links provide quick access to key pages.
Your website might have multiple sub navigations, with different links displayed on different pages. An individual sub navigation can be displayed on just one page or several pages. The following types of pages can display sub navigations:
- Section (including your homepage)
- Infopage
NOTE: Category pages do not display sub navigations. This includes Category pages with merged with Sections.
Site admins can conveniently create and update sub navigations from Pangea CMS. To get started, go to Settings > Navigation menu > Sub navigation.
For detailed information, see the following article:
Footer navigation
The footer navigation appears at the very bottom of every page on your website. This space typically provides links to Infopages that are not regularly updated (such as your "About" and "Contact us" pages). In the footer navigation, every item includes a title and a collection of links. Items are displayed as follows:
- Mobile: Each item is an expander. Visitors can tap the title to reveal the links.
- Desktop: All titles and links are directly visible.
Site admins can conveniently update the footer navigation from Pangea CMS. To get started, go to Settings > Navigation menu > Footer navigation.
For detailed information, see the following article:
Follow us navigation
The follow us navigation offers convenient access to your social media profiles and channels, as well as pages on your website where visitors can subscribe to different content. The follow us navigation appears:
- In the primary navigation
- In the footer navigation
Configure your follow us navigation
The follow us navigation is uniquely configured for every website. You can include buttons for the profiles, channels, and pages that you want to highlight for visitors.
Sharing navigation
The sharing navigation appears on content pages. It allows visitors to conveniently share your content. Using the sharing navigation, visitors can:
- Copy the content URL to their clipboard.
- Share content publicly through a social media account.
- Share content privately with contacts through a messaging app.
- Share content privately with contacts through email.
Configure your sharing navigation
The sharing navigation is uniquely configured for every website. You can include buttons for the apps and platforms that are commonly used by audiences in your target region.
Live button
If your site regularly streams live audio / video content, we recommend including the Live button in your action bar. This button opens your site's live page.
The Live button has two possible states:
- Active: A red button indicates that live content is currently available.
- Inactive: A blue button indicates that no live content is currently available.
Your site might have multiple tubes (or channels) for streaming live content. If live content is currently available via more than one channel, visitors can choose which channel they want to consume after hitting the Live button.
To add the Live button to your action bar, contact Pangea Customer Care.
