Pangea Highlights 6.21

About

Main features include new way of attaching snippets and possibility to attach Pangaea widget as well. CKEditor has new layout and some improved functionality. Pangea TV is now supported on mobile web. Other minor changes are listed in Pangea 6.21.1 Release Notes

CKEditor changes

  • First thing you will notice is new skin layout with redesigned icons.
  • Bullet / numbered lists are now more friendly to use. Just press the icon and type - no need to highlight the text and hit the icon.
  • You can also edit already embedded content. By right mouse click on the embedded content placeholder > small menu will popup allowing you edit settings / placeholder name or delete placeholder. Depending on your browser some functionality might be limited.

Important workaround notice:
As you type and hit enter on the end of the line it will skipp one line..

To avoid this please hit SHIFT+ENTER instead and this will allow you
To continue like this without line break.

For more information about CKEditor please refer to CKEditor Guide

New way of attaching snippets

Use Insert Embed Content button on CKEditor > Switch to Attach external media tab > Find snippet you would like to use from the list > Hit small arrow icon to find out what format we support (URL or Embed code) for particular snippet > Enter the information into External media URL or Embed Code field > Hit Attach button to check for correctness > Hit second attach button to actually attach it to the article.

Please beware you can also attach: Pangea External widget / Pangea Internet TV / Pangea Video and Pangea Audio snippets. They all require the embed code you can find for example on Video / Audio edit page or Edit Tube page (Settings > Pangea TV > Tubes) or Edit page of External Flash widget.

Pangea TV on mobile

We now support live streaming also on mobile devices. Currently only single input stream show can be viewed on mobile device. In future we would like to enable the same functionality for multiple inputs as well. If you would like this feature enabled for your service please send us request as additional setting is required from our site.

When creating new show select single input. Click on question mark for more detailed information.
