Search boxes on 'Sections' and 'My sites' lists
To make life a little easier for our CMS users, we've added search boxes on the following list pages:
- Sections
- Infopages
- Landings
- Regions
- You Might Also Like 2.0
Quickly find the item you're looking for without scrolling. Just type keywords in the box and hit the Enter key on your keyboard.
For our CMS users with access to multiple sites, we've also added a search box on the My sites list.
'All' added to the Status filter on the Users list
We've made further improvements to the Users list, which came with the 8.21 release. When using the Status filter, you can now choose All to view users with all statuses.
Bug fix: Some buttons don't work when CKEditor is maximized
Some buttons currently do not work properly when CKEditor is maximized (including Source Code View and Insert Embedded Content). We're happy to announce that the fix for this bug is coming with the 8.23 release, so all buttons will work correctly while CKEditor is maximized. Please accept our apologies for this frustrating bug.
Bug fix: Outdated information in 'Podcast image' tooltip
We spotted some outdated information in the Podcast Image tooltip on the Edit Category (Zone) screen (shown below).
Please be aware that we actually now support podcast images up to 3000px x 3000px (according to the latest Apple guidelines). This rogue tooltip has been updated in the 8.23 release. We apologize for any confusion caused.
Bug fix: Issues searching for AP images
Thank you to our users who reported issues searching for external images from Associated Press (AP). From your reports, we learned that it is not currently possible to find AP images by entering keywords from the image description. We're happy to announce that this bug is fixed in the 8.23 release.
You Might Also Like (YMAL) widget retirement
We plan to retire the You Might Also Like (YMAL) widget as part of the Pangea CMS 8.24 release (currently scheduled for June 13th 2023).
Although this is not connected to the upcoming 8.23 release, we'd like to give services advanced notice about this important change. Please be aware of the following:
- After the 8.24 release, all YMAL widgets in Pangea CMS will be converted to You Might Also Like 2.0 (YMAL 2.0).
- There will be no visible changes on public-facing sites.
- This process will be fully automatic, with no actions required from services.
