New Features

1. Proof of Concept – Video Upload

A new Beta video upload page with a new upload component will be available from this release.

It will now be possible to drag and drop file, or pause and resume the upload of the file.

When your file is successfully uploaded, you will be redirected to the old video edit page and can continue working with metadata as up until now.
The new video edit page with metadata as well as other new features is currently expected to be a part of the following release.

2. Manual Live Stream Widget

We are introducing a Manual Stream widget and an update to the manual stream. It will be possible to add the new Manual Stream widget to a section page just like any other widget.

Similar to the Live Streaming widget which now exists, it will be possible to set up a fall-back widget option.

This means that the Manual Stream widget will only appear on the section, when you press “Go Live to Website”. In other instances, readers of the site will simply see the fallback widget option.

This comes along with an update to Manual Streaming, which will now include the option to stream to your website.

That is on top of the already existing ability to stream to 5 different social media channels (YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, VKontakte, Odnoklassniki).

3. Front End Search Results: Quizzes and Polls

As of this release, it will be possible to search the interactive content (such as quizzes and polls), published with Pangea tools.

Readers will be able to find them in the All content, as well as on a separate tab called “Interactive”. This title can be localised.

To localise title of the tab name, please use following key:

  • Responsive.Search.Tabs.Interactive
