Requesting a custom banner from the Pangea Design team

What's inside this article:

Basic information

The Pangea Design team can create custom banners on request. These banners automatically adapt to different screen sizes (for example, on mobile phones and computers).

You can request custom banners to:

  • Promote special projects.
  • Promote mobile apps or social media accounts.
  • Tell visitors how to bypass website blocking.

Sizes and formats

The Pangea Design team can create banners in the following formats:

Full-width banners

A large banner for placing at the top of sections and infopages. This banner is normally not clickable.

Article banners

A small, clickable banner for placing in articles and other text content pages.

Single-column banners

A small, clickable banner for placing on sections and infopages.

Request a responsive banner

To order a custom banner, open the following form:

Ensure Graphic / Infographic Request is selected. Under Graphic Type, select Graphic.

A detailed description helps the Pangea Design team to understand your request. In the form, include the following details:

  • The image you want to show on the banner.
  • The text you want to show on the banner, including the text on any buttons.
  • The URL that the banner links to (if the banner is clickable).

Display a responsive banner

After preparing your banner, the Pangea Design team saves it as a snippet in Pangea CMS. The name of the snippet always includes the issue ID for the graphics request in Jira (for example, GR-2080). In Pangea CMS, you can search for the snippet using this ID.
