Pangea 8.50 - Release highlights

Release schedule:

The Pangea 8.50 release is scheduled for November 10, 2026.

NOTE: Pangea Customer Care share the exact timings before each release by email and system message in Pangea CMS. The release date may change.

What's new?

Improved heading order on content pages

Headings on content pages now appear in the correct order in the page code. The order starts with H1 (the main page title), then H2, H3, and so on.

The correct heading order helps search engines and AI tools understand the structure of the page. As a result, your content is more likely to appear in search results and in AI answers (such as AI overviews and chatbot responses).

NOTE: This change only affects the page code. Content pages look the same for website visitors.

Preview for external media embeds in Pangea CMS

External media embeds (such as YouTube videos and Telegram posts) now appear with a static preview on edit pages in Pangea CMS. Previously, these embeds appeared as gray blocks.

The preview shows the content of each embed, so anyone who opens the edit page can easily identify it.

NOTE: Previews only appear for new embeds. Embeds added before this change still appear as gray blocks.

For more information, see our Inserting external media article.

Video player upgrade on websites

We have upgraded the video player on websites. The new player offers more advanced analytics, which help your analytics teams better understand how visitors use the player.

This upgrade also allows us to add new features and visual improvements to the player in future releases.

NOTE: The new video player looks and works the same for website visitors.
