New Features
1. CMS 8.0 Advanced Search
With the new Beta Search for CMS 8.0, it will now be possible to search through all content types, with the possibility to refine the search through the user of filters (such as entity and site, content types, status, publication date, etc.). It will also be possible to display the results in different viewing modes, which include a list of results, thumbnails, or in a compact mode. Along with the new search will also make it possible to copy the URLs of the list of results so that they can be shared with your colleagues quickly and easily after having been refined to the level you prefer.
2. Live Video Stream in MPEG-DASH
In this release we will start with the introduction of MPEG_DASH to video live streaming. It will allow users to consume live streaming content on popular desktop browsers without the need for Flash player.
This feature will be rolled out site by site and we will notify you once your service will be the next in line to be switched.
3. Facebook Quote
The Facebook quote feature lets readers to select the text on the front end of your page and add it to their share, allowing them tell a more expressive story.
This feature only works in Chrome and Firefox browsers on desktop computers. To activate this feature please file a Change request via Jira ticketing system.
4. Search Page Programs
The front end search will now also have a tab which will filter the results by program zones based on keyword match. We have included all TV and Radio zones so all your content will be easily reached by searching. As additional we also included under tab ”All” Video and Audio program episodes.
This tab has also new localization key to be translated. “Responsive.Search.Tabs.Program”
5. Custom URL
As of this release, Custom URL in Pangea will support Unicode, which means, that now you can create Custom URL using any language.
Examples of Custom URL with unicode support include:

https://www.radiotavisupleba.ge/ახალი-ამბები
https://www.radiofarda.com/بایگانی
Any one page can be assigned only one custom URL, with the exception of Home page, which can not be assigned a custom URL.
6. Live Highlight Redesign
We've redesigned Live/Highlights element to make it lighter and to improve compatibility with other navigation elements.
7. Source Project
An issue which caused a lot of news from agencies to be skipped in the queue was recently resolved. This glitch was caused by 3rd party application and Source now shows all news without significant delay.
There will be an independent release for Source in two weeks which will improve the Central news room feed bringing a faster and more precise listing of all texts.
8. Sharepoint Migration 2013-2016
We have upgraded the Sharepoint database, which should provide improved performance through better indexing rules.
