One of the most common tasks in Pangea is adding an Article-type content to your site. Article-type content include: Article, Transcript, News, Blog, Press Release and Feature. Most services do this dozens of times per day. In this guide, we will cover an Article creation basics. This procedure can be applied to the rest of Article-type sub-content.

Navigating to Add New Article

In order to get to article-creation page in Pangea, use the top navigation bar and click on the link New. Content type options will appear below it. Hover your mouse over to the Content and you will see sub-content of that Content type appear to the right, then click on the Article.

You will be taken to page, where you can create new articles.

When you first open article creation screen, you will notice navigation bar, that will guide you through the creation of your article to make it just the way you want it to be.


Upon examination of navigation bar, you will notice couple of options:

Article Content - allows you to add any type of information into article and also gives you options to make it appealing to end-users.

Teaser Content - allows you to create teaser for your article to make it more appealing to end-usesrs on your section page.

Related Content - allows you to link different content types to your article, this include: Article-type Content, Multimedia, Backgrounders and Polls.

New Uploads - tool for quick uploading of new content to our database. This includes: Authors, Image, Video, Sound Slide and Audio clip

Preview - serves for displaying article in its published form

Save and Cancel are used for execution of changes in article.
